First Grade
Mrs. Cheryl Overschmidt
Hi! My name is Cheryl Overschmidt and I am the First grade teacher at St. John’s. My teaching career began at St. John’s in the fall of 1991. I married my husband, Glen, in April of 1991.
I reside in Union and have two children, Jenna and Jeff. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. I earned my Master’s Degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
I love teaching first graders at St. John’s because they are so enthusiastic and ready to learn. The small classes allow me to really get to know each child. All of the people at St. John’s make it a great place to teach!
